About the Guest Role#
Guest is a restricted team role for members who do not currently need project access.Guests cannot view the member list or role and permission settings under My Team → Members. They can still edit their own My Nickname in Team Settings.
Changing a member to Guest resets their access to all existing team projects to Forbidden.
Changing them back to another team role does not restore previous project access. An administrator must assign project roles again.
For new projects, Guests are assigned Forbidden by default, regardless of Other Members' Project Permissions. Ask an administrator to grant access after the project is created. Guest is a team-level role, while Forbidden is a project-level access state.
Setting Team Permissions#
Set team-level permissions by assigning a team role in member settings, or when sending an invitation if role configuration is available in the invitation flow.Project Roles and Permissions#
